Good news for consumers in New Jersey: A new state law now allows real estate agents to rebate agent commissions to the buyer. This has the direct impact of reducing consumer cost of a transaction as well as opening the door for additional industry competition from non-traditional real estate brokers, such as Redfin and ZipRealty.
